After only a year of thinking about it, talking about it and procrastinating wholeheartedly….today I recorded the first audio for my as-yet-unnamed podcast.
To be honest I would have procrastinated some more, except that my wonderful mentor encouraged me to write an editorial calendar for the rest of this year. This week the calendar said I would be publishing the first audio – and as I’m a lifelong people-pleaser (and now, it seems, a calendar-pleaser too) I felt like I really needed to do what I said I would do.
But in all seriousness, I’ve been wanting to start talking with you (as opposed to solely writing to you) for a long time. There are a few reasons for this – I know some people prefer to listen rather than read, and we don’t always have a lot of time to read these days. Also I love to talk and it’s especially fun to talk with other people about the obstacles they’ve faced in figuring out what their mission is in life, and then finding ways around all the obstacles in their way. (The universe has quite the sense of humour, so the more something matters to us, the more the universe likes to place boulders between us and that thing which we’re most intent on achieving.)
Hence the first episode, where I talk about why I care about helping people to get the important stuff done, ponder how an efficiency queen/king may or may not start their day, and encourage you to think about what makes you feel like you were on fire – in a good way – at the end of the day.

Coming up we have some wonderful guests talking about their best strategies for clarifying what they really want to be doing with their lives, reaching their goals and ticking things off their to-do lists. If you want to know when the next episode is live, let us know how to keep you in the loop!
